In August 2018, I will be starting as a postdoctoral researcher in the Engineering Sciences Department at Brown University in the USA.
In June 2017, I graduated with a PhD under the supervision of Prof. Detlef Lohse and Prof. Chao Sun, following which I continued as a postdoc in the same group. My doctoral research was on the dynamics of buoyant particles and air bubbles in turbulent flows. Prior to my PhD, I worked for about 1.5 years at General Electric Co. (GE) , where I was involved in the modeling of fuel sprays in aircraft engine combustion. I have interests in a broad range of topics in multiphase and particle-laden turbulence, free-surface and physiological flows, and thermal convection.
